WCAF14 Open Exhibition Part 2

On show in the fourth Contemporary Open Exhibition is a selection of work by local and regional artists and as usual the standard is very high. Regular judges Derek Dick from Culture Warrington and Emma Kelly from The Gallery at Bank Quay House were joined this year by guest judge Kwong Lee, Director of Manchester’s Castlefield Gallery.

Unfortunately not everyone who entered was selected but over 70 pieces are exhibited both at The Gallery at Bank Quay House, and also Warrington Museum & Art Gallery in Part 1 of the exhibition.

As well as a first and second prize, there is also the Python Oakley People’s Choice prize, which gives you the opportunity to vote for your favourite piece. Pick up a voting slip, fill out the details and place in the box. The winner will be announced at the end of the show. Also on show is the Photography Open at Pyramid arts centre.
