Halloween Nosferatu Screening & Live Music by The Broken Door, Esther Ainsworth & Chiz Turnross
As the days gets shorter and the nights get longer (#AboutTime), this is just what Doctor Frankenstein ordered to get through those post-Summer blues.
If you’re that bit too old for trick or treating, come along to the closing party of Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival 2014.
A live musical interpretation of the Classic 1922 film Nosferatu will be performed by improvised drum & bass band hailing from Manchester The Broken Door.
Old visuals with a new and electronic soundtrack will make this a closing festival night to remember.
Expect sensory delight as the band plays along live to this spooky original by F.W. Murnau – Vampire Count Orlok expresses interest in a new residence and real estate agent Hutter’s wife in this silent classic based on the story “Dracula.”
There will also be a live Warrington Voices performance by Esther Ainsworth followed by a Un-wire, Re-wire dance performance to live music created by Chiz Turnross.
Ticket £3 in advance / £5 on the door - available from Pyramid Box Office or online. Click here.
